best Honey Chicken Kabobs - Delicious

A delightful twist on traditional barbecue fare are chicken kabobs marinated in a sweet and sour sauce. The honey-soy blend enhances the flavor of every juicy piece of chicken by acting as both a marinade and a basting sauce. If preferred, marinate fresh mushrooms, cherry tomatoes, or other vegetables for an entire night. Lack a grill? You may cook these in your broiler.

Ingredients:

Marinade:

  1. ⅓ cup honey
  2. ⅓ cup soy sauce
  3. ¼ cup vegetable oil
  4. ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper

Kabobs:

  1. 8 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves - cut into 1 inch cubes
  2. 5 small onion, cut into 2-inch pieces
  3. 2 medium red bell peppers, cut into 2-inch pieces
  4. 2 cloves garlic
  5. 12 bamboo skewers, or as needed, soaked in water for 30 minutes

Directions:

Step:No:01

Prepare the marinade: In a large glass bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, oil, and black pepper.

Step:No:02

Take off 1/4 cup of the marinade, transfer it to a tiny jar, close it, and save it aside for later use.

Step:No:03

In the big bowl, add the chicken, bell peppers, onions, and garlic to the marinade. Put the cover on and let it marinade for two hours or overnight in the fridge.

Step:No:04

When you're ready to cook, oil the grates of an outside grill and prepare it to high heat.

Step:No:05

After draining, discard the marinade from the chicken and veggies. Alternately thread the chicken and the veggies onto skewers.

Step:No:06

Kabobs should be placed on the heating grill. Cook for 12 to 15 minutes, rotating often and coating with the marinade that was set aside, or until the chicken is well browned all over and no longer pink in the middle.

Step:No:07

Enjoy while hot!
