Easy beef bulgogi recipes

Any meat lover should try the Korean beef bulgogi meal! After marinating in a savory and sweet sauce, thinly sliced beef is cooked on the grill or stir-fried until it becomes juicy and tender. This simple and quick recipe is perfect for hectic evening meals!

Ingredients:

Beef.

  1. 1 pound ribeye or sirloin (thinly sliced)
  2. ½ medium onion (thinly sliced)
  3. 2 green onions (chopped)
  4. 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  5. 1 small carrot (julienned)
  6. chopped green onions
  7. sesame seeds (optional garnish)

Marinade.

  1. ¼ cup coconut aminos
  2. 2 tbsp honey (or maple syrup)
  3. 1 tsp grated fresh ginger
  4. 1 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
  5. ¼ tsp black pepper

Instructions:

Step:No:01

First, combine all the marinade ingredients in a bowl and whisk to combine. Put aside.

Step:No:02

To make slicing easier, if the beef isn't already finely cut, put it in the freezer for 20 to 30 minutes. Next, thinly cut the beef into bite-sized pieces by slicing it against the grain.

Step:No:03

Pour the marinade over the sliced beef that has been placed in a basin. Make sure the steak is evenly coated by tossing. To marinate, cover the bowl with a lid or plastic wrap and place it in the refrigerator for at least half an hour. Marinate in the refrigerator for two to three hours or overnight for the greatest taste.

Step:No:04

Place a grill pan or big skillet over medium-high heat. To avoid sticking, use a small amount of oil as necessary.

Step:No:05

To the heated skillet, add the marinated beef and the chopped onions. Cook, tossing periodically, until the steak is cooked through and has a caramelized color, 3 to 4 minutes. Julienned carrots should be added.

Step:No:06

To the skillet, add the chopped green onions and minced garlic. Simmer for a further one to two minutes, or until aromatic.

Step:No:07

Lastly, place the beef bulgogi on a platter for serving. If preferred, garnish with more chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
