Eesy baked bbq chicken thighs

This recipe for oven-baked BBQ chicken thighs is created with a quick and easy homemade BBQ sauce. They become extremely delectable and effortless to create when cooked to a sticky, sweet-savory perfection.

Ingredients:

  1. 1 cup ketchup
  2. 1/2 cup brown sugar
  3. 1 1/2 tablespoons unfiltered apple cider vinegar
  4. 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  5. 2 teaspoons chili powder
  6. 2 teaspoons salt
  7. 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  8. 1 teaspoon onion powder
  9. 1 teaspoon paprika
  10. 1/4 teaspoon freshly cracked pepper
  11. 2 pounds boneless skinless chicken thighs, fat trimmed

Instructions:

Step:No:01

Adjust an oven rack to the center position and preheat the oven to 425°F. A metal wire cooling rack should be placed inside a foil-lined baking sheet.

Step:No:02

Put the ketchup, sugar, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, chili powder, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and pepper in a medium saucepan over low heat. Toss to mix thoroughly. After increasing the heat to medium-high and simmering the sauce for about five minutes, turn the heat down to medium-low and continue cooking until the sugar has completely dissolved and the sauce has thickened somewhat. Take the sauce off of the burner. To serve, set aside 3/4 cup of the sauce.

Step:No:03

Transfer the chicken to a big bowl and sprinkle the remaining teaspoon of salt over it. Mix in 1/2 cup of BBQ sauce, tossing to coat thoroughly. Place the chicken on the wire rack that has been ready. After 15 minutes of baking, take the pan out of the oven. Apply half of the leftover barbecue sauce all over the chicken using a pastry brush, then turn the pieces over with tongs. After 15 more minutes, put the chicken back in the oven. After removing and rebrushing with BBQ sauce, activate the broiler. Cook for 4 to 6 minutes, or until the chicken's edges start to brown. When an instant-read thermometer registers 165°F inside the chicken, it is done.

Step:No:04

With the reserved BBQ sauce on the side, serve the chicken.
