This traditional and delectable recipe for homemade chicken and broccoli is ideal for a quick and simple midweek supper! Ingredients:
- ⅔ cup chicken broth
- ¼ cup coconut aminos (see note)
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp minced garlic
- 1 tbsp tapioca flour (or arrowroot powder)
- 1 pound boneless skinless chicken breast
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp onion powder
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- ½ cup finely diced onions
- 4 cups broccoli florets
Instructions:

In a bowl, first combine the broth, tapioca flour, honey, coconut aminos, and minced garlic. Mix everything together.

The chicken breasts should be cut into ½-inch cubes. Add onion powder and black pepper for seasoning.Step:No:03
On the stovetop, place a sizable skillet or wok over medium heat. Put in a single spoonful of olive oil. Put the chicken cubes inside. Cook, stirring and flipping occasionally, for 4 to 5 minutes, or until cooked through. Take out of the skillet the chicken.Step:No:04
Add the chopped onion, broccoli florets, and the remaining 1 tablespoon oil to the same skillet. Cook over medium heat for 4 minutes, stirring to avoid scorching.
