Mix flour, cornmeal, sugar, and baking powder in a big basin; add salt and pepper to taste.Step:NO:5
Whisk the egg and milk together in a separate bowl or a big glass measuring cup. Using a rubber spatula, gently swirl the mixture over the dry ingredients until it becomes moist.
