Avocado with Grilled Flank Steak in a Salad

This salad is different from the typical restaurant versions; it's fresh, healthful, and simple to cook. It can be served as an appetizer salad or in smaller servings as a main entrée.

Ingredients:

  1. 2 medium tomatoes, diced
  2. 1 (4 ounce) ball fresh mozzarella, cut into 1-inch cubes
  3. ¼ cup coarsely chopped fresh basil
  4. 2 cloves garlic, minced, divided
  5. 41 tablespoons olive oil, divided
  6. 1 pound flank steak
  7. salt and ground black pepper to taste
  8. 1 (6.5 ounce) bag butter lettuce mix
  9. 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar, or to taste

Directions:

Step:No:01

Toss to coat. In a bowl, combine tomatoes, mozzarella, basil, 1 clove chopped garlic, and 1 tablespoon olive oil. Chill the bowl after covering it.

Step:No:02

Set an outside grill on medium-high heat and give the grates a quick oiling.

Step:No:03

Add the steak, one clove of minced garlic, one tablespoon of olive oil, salt, and pepper to a large resealable bag. After securing the bag, sprinkle the steak with the oil mixture.

Step:No:04

Cook the steak to your preferred level of doneness; for medium-rare, this will take around 5 minutes per side on a hot grill. When placed in the center, an instant-read thermometer should read 140 degrees Fahrenheit (60 degrees Celsius). After letting it stand for five minutes, thinly slice it against the grain.

Step:No:05

Arrange the lettuce among four plates. Over each piece of lettuce, drizzle 1 1/2 tsp of olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Evenly distribute the steak and tomato combination among the salads.
