Simple Korean BBQ Beef, or Bulgogi

Sliced beef that has been marinated is used to make bulgogi, or Korean barbecued beef. Crushed pear is used in most recipes to tenderize the meat. Coca-Cola, according to the Korean mother of my lover, may be used for the same thing. Since the sirloin steak in this dish is sliced very thinly, tenderization is not required. It tastes great with rice, kimchi or chile paste, and lettuce leaves.

Ingredients:

  1. ⅓ cup soy sauce
