The best Casserole recipes

This is a versatile casserole that my mom created when my first child was born, and it has become a family favorite ever since. You can simply change the ingredients, so feel free to use whatever soup and vegetables that you choose. I usually use mashed potatoes from a box. To freeze one, double the recipe! However, only use 3 soup cans; any more, and it becomes very juicy!

Ingredients:

  1. 8 large potatoes, peeled and chopped
  2. 1 pound lean ground beef
  3. ½ cup chopped onion
  4. 1 (15 ounce) can carrots, drained
  5. 1 (15 ounce) can green beans, drained
  6. 1 (10.5 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
  7. 1 (10.5 ounce) can condensed tomato soup
  8. ¾ cup shredded Cheddar cheese

Directions:

Step:No:01

Turn the oven on to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees Celsius). Grease a 9 x 13-inch baking dish very lightly.

Step:No:02

Heat a big saucepan of water with salt until it boils. Add potatoes and simmer for about 15 minutes, or until they are firm but still tender. After draining, mashing.

Step:No:03

In a large skillet over medium-high heat, mix the ground beef and onion while the potatoes are cooking. Simmer and stir for 7 to 10 minutes, or until the onion is soft and the meat is evenly browned and crumbly. Empty.

Step:No:04

Add condensed soups, green beans, and carrots to the beef mixture. Place in the baking dish that has been prepared. Cover the beef mixture with mashed potatoes, then top with Cheddar cheese.

Step:No:05

Bake for about 30 minutes in a preheated oven, or until the potatoes are lightly golden brown on top.
