Cheerios with Casserole

 This casserole is a family favorite. It makes plenty for two dinners and is simple to prepare. Serve with fresh pineapple and a crisp salad for a satisfying lunch that the whole family will enjoy!

Ingredients:


  1. cooking spray
  2. 1 (32 ounce) package frozen bite-size potato nuggets (such as Tater Tots®), divided
  3. 1 pound ground beef
  4. 1 cup chopped onion
  5. 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  6. 2 teaspoons Montreal-style steak seasoning (Optional)
  7. 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  8. ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
  9. 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
  10. ½ cup milk
  11. ½ cup grated Cheddar cheese
  12. 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  13. 1 cup grated Cheddar cheese


Directions:

Step:No:01

Set oven temperature to 350 F (175 C). Apply cooking spray to a 13 x 9-inch casserole dish.

Step:No:02

In the casserole dish, distribute 20 potato nuggets.

Step:No:03

Bake for about ten minutes, or until thoroughly warmed, in a preheated oven.

Step:No:04

A big skillet should be heated at medium-high heat. In a heated skillet, cook and toss the beef and onion for 5 to 7 minutes, or until the beef is thoroughly browned; then, drain and discard the fat. Garlic powder, black pepper, steak spice, and two tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce are used to season the meat mixture.

In a bowl, stir together the cream of mushroom soup, milk, 1/2 cup Cheddar cheese, and 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce.

Step:No:06

In the casserole dish, mash the warmed potato nuggets until the bottom is covered. Over the mashed potato nuggets, distribute the ground beef mixture. Evenly cover the beef layer with the soup mixture. Place the remaining potato nuggets on top and equally distribute 1 cup of Cheddar cheese.

Bake for 30 to 40 minutes in a preheated oven, or until the casserole is bubbling and the potatoes are golden brown.
