easy baked feta chicken

 Juicy chicken breasts covered in a zesty feta, tomato, and garlic sauce are the star of this simple chicken dish, baked feta chicken. Ideal for hectic weeknights!

Ingredients:

  1. 2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts
  2. 10 ounces grape tomatoes
  3. 1 head of garlic
  4. 3 tablespoons olive oil extra virgin
  5. 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  6. 1/2 teaspoon salt
  7. 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  8. 8 ounces block feta cheese
  9. 2 tablespoons fresh basil finely chopped


Instructions:

Step:No:01

Set oven temperature to 450°F. Place the chicken breasts, grape tomatoes, and garlic cloves in a large 9 x 13 baking dish. After drizzling everything with olive oil, add salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Using tongs, stir to ensure uniform coating.

Step:No:02

A block of feta should be placed in the well created in the middle of the baking dish.

Step:No:03

Once golden brown, bake uncovered for thirty minutes, and then broil for an additional five minutes.

Step:No:04

Take out of the oven, place foil over it, and leave it for five minutes. Gently whisk in the tomatoes and feta cheese, pressing to form a sauce, using a large spoon. Add some basil as a garnish.

Step:No:05

Serve hot with your preferred side, such as salad, pasta, or rice.
