Ingredients:

  1. 3 lbs boneless chicken breasts fresh or frozen*
  2. 1 cup water
  3. 2 tsp garlic powder
  4. 1 tsp salt
  5. Ground black pepper to taste


Instructions:

Step:No:01

Add water to the Instant Pot and set the trivet inside.

Step:No:02

Arrange the chicken breasts in a single layer, making sure to keep them apart if using frozen ones, and season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Using tongs or your hands, toss to coat evenly.

Step:No:03

Put the pressure vent on Sealing and close the lid. Put Pressure on It Cook fresh chicken breasts (under 2" thick) on High or Manual for 10 minutes, or frozen and fresh chicken breasts (of any size) for 15 minutes.

The Instant Pot's display will read "ON," and it will take around ten minutes for it to reach pressure. A small amount of steam will emerge from a valve, and the countdown will start when the float valve rises.

Your chicken will be done when the Instant Pot beeps and the display says "OFF" after ten to fifteen minutes. Once the five minutes have elapsed, activate Quick Release by adjusting the sealing valve to Venting.

When you open the cover, your chicken breasts are prepared for salads, casseroles, and other meals. Chop or shred, reserving the bottom stock for soup.
