Honey Chicken with Harissa

 These chicken thighs with honey and harissa paste coating are a spicy-sweet treat that bakes to perfection. To get the right level of spice, adjust the amount of harissa paste.

Ingredients:


  1. 4 large skin-on, bone-in chicken thighs
  2. 3 tablespoons harissa paste
  3. 2 tablespoons honey
  4. 2 tablespoons olive oil
  5. 2 cloves garlic, minced
  6. 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
  7. 1/2 teaspoon ground coriander
  8. 1/2 teaspoon salt
  9. 1/8 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  10. 1 green onion, thinly sliced


Directions:

Step:No:01

Set the oven's temperature to 375°F, or 190°C.

Step:No:02

In a bowl, mix together harissa paste, honey, olive oil, minced garlic, cumin, coriander, salt, and pepper. Make sure every chicken thigh is equally coated by rubbing the mixture over and beneath the skin. Put the skin-side up chicken thighs in a baking dish.

Step:No:03

Bake for 35 to 40 minutes in a preheated oven, or until the chicken is cooked through and the skin has a caramelized brown color. When placed in the thickest area of the thigh, close to the bone, an instant-read thermometer should read 165 degrees Fahrenheit (74 degrees Celsius). Throw some green onions on top.
