Honey Garlic Chicken Noodles in a Slow Cooker

Sweet and delicious perfection is achieved by simmering flavorful chicken thighs in this slow cooker dish. Add some tender, fluffy noodles, and you have a dish full of comfort food that the whole family will love. Ingredients:


  1. 1/3 cup honey
  2. 1/4 cup lower-sodium soy sauce
  3. 6 medium garlic cloves, minced
  4. 2 tablespoons dark soy sauce or soy sauce
  5. 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  6. 1 tablespoon Sriracha chile sauce
  7. 1 tablespoon Shaoxing wine or dry sherry
  8. 2 teaspoons grated fresh ginger
  9. 2 teaspoons toasted sesame oil
  10. 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  11. 1 1/2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  12. 2 tablespoons tap water
  13. 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  14. 16 ounces fresh lo mein noodles, cooked according to package directions
  15. 3 large (1/2-ounce each) scallions, thinly sliced, plus more for garnish
  16. white sesame seeds

Step:No:01

Compile every component.

Step:No:02

In a 6-quart slow cooker, stir together honey, soy sauce, ginger, garlic, dark soy sauce, oyster sauce, Sriracha, Shaoxing wine, and salt. Arrange the chicken thighs into a single layer within the mixture of honey.

Cook the chicken covered for approximately 3 hours on HIGH and 5 hours on LOW, or until it is tender.

In a small bowl, whisk together cornstarch and water until smooth. After removing the chicken from the slow cooker, shred it with a fork on a cutting board.

Stir in cornstarch mixture in slow cooker on HIGH for about 30 seconds, or until slightly thickened. Switch off the slow cooker. Add the cooked noodles and scallions to the slow cooker with the returned shredded chicken, and mix to coat.

Evenly distribute the noodle mixture among the six serving dishes, then top with sesame seeds and scallions.
