salad made with grilled chicken and seasonal fruit

 This salad of grilled chicken tastes as good as it looks. In summer, you can use fresh berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, or blackberries) and in winter, you can use orange segments. Any time of year, this amazing salad recipe will receive great praises!

Ingredients:


  1. 1 pound skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
  2. ½ cup pecans
  3. ⅓ cup red wine vinegar
  4. ½ cup white sugar
  5. 1 cup vegetable oil
  6. ½ onion, minced
  7. 1 teaspoon ground mustard
  8. 1 teaspoon salt
  9. ¼ teaspoon ground white pepper
  10. 2 heads Bibb lettuce - rinsed, dried and torn
  11. 1 cup sliced fresh strawberries


Directions:

Step:No:01

Set the grill's temperature to high. Give the grill grate a little oil.

Step:No:02

Grill chicken for about 8 minutes on each side, or until juices run clear. Take off the heat, let it cool, then cut. Put aside.

Step:No:03

In the meantime, toast pecans over medium-high heat in a dry skillet. Cook for about 8 minutes, stirring regularly, until pecans become aromatic. Take off the heat and place aside.

Step:No:04

Red wine vinegar, sugar, vegetable oil, onion, mustard, salt, and pepper should all be combined in a blender to form the dressing. Process till everything is smooth.

Step:No:05

Place lettuce on platters for serving. Add pecans, strawberries, and slices of cooked chicken on top. To serve, drizzle with dressing.
