 The topping for these perfectly toasted English muffins is extra thick, extremely chunky, crispy-chewy, nutty, and sweet. Delicious and suitable for breakfast, a snack, or a post-dinner dessert.

Ingredients:

Pistachio Walnut Mixture.

  1. 1/3 cup walnuts
  2. 1/3 cup pistachios
  3. 1/4 cup (4 tablespoons) butter, softened or melted
  4. 2 tablespoons brown sugar

Other.

  1. English muffins
  2. Honey
  3. Mascarpone cheese


Instructions:

Step:No:01

Preheat the broiler. I like to use the "Low Broil" setting, but the optimal setting will vary depending on the oven.

Step:No:02

In a food processor, pulse the nuts until finely chopped. Save a couple of spoonfuls of the nuts for the garnish. In a small bowl, combine butter, brown sugar, and the remaining nuts.

Step:No:03

On a foil-lined baking sheet, toast the English muffins for about three minutes, or until toasted.

Step:No:04

Spread the nutty butter mixture over the English muffins. Go back to the oven and broil, just a few inches from the heat source, for one minute, or until bubbling and beginning to caramelize.

Step:No:05

Add a small dollop of mascarpone cheese on top and gently swoop it to incorporate it. Add more nuts and honey to finish. Pour a cup of coffee for yourself to enjoy with it. It's amazing, I must say!
