- 1/3 cup walnuts
- 1/3 cup pistachios
- 1/4 cup (4 tablespoons) butter, softened or melted
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar

Preheat the broiler. I like to use the "Low Broil" setting, but the optimal setting will vary depending on the oven.

In a food processor, pulse the nuts until finely chopped. Save a couple of spoonfuls of the nuts for the garnish. In a small bowl, combine butter, brown sugar, and the remaining nuts.Step:No:03
On a foil-lined baking sheet, toast the English muffins for about three minutes, or until toasted.Step:No:04
Spread the nutty butter mixture over the English muffins. Go back to the oven and broil, just a few inches from the heat source, for one minute, or until bubbling and beginning to caramelize.
