Simple Casserole with Upside-Down Pizza

This is a pretty easy recipe for upside-down pizza casserole. It's really good, but I can't remember where I got it. It will definitely be a hit with your kids!

Ingredients:

  1. 1 ½ pounds lean ground beef
  2. 1 (15 ounce) can pizza sauc
  3. 1 (4 ounce) can sliced mushrooms, drained (Optional)
  4. ¼ cup sliced pitted ripe olives
  5. 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese, or more to taste
  6. 1 (10 ounce) can refrigerated biscuit dough

Directions:

Step:No:01

Set the oven's temperature to 400°F, or 200°C.

Step:No:02

A big skillet should be heated at medium-high heat. In a heated skillet, cook and stir the meat for 5 to 7 minutes, or until browned and crumbly. Grease should be drained and disposed of.

Step:No:03

Add the olives, mushrooms, and sauce to the skillet with the beef. For about two minutes, cook and stir until thoroughly cooked. Pour mixture into a rectangular baking dish that holds two quarts. Add a sprinkling of mozzarella cheese.

Step:No:04

Using your hands, flatten each biscuit and place it atop the cheese.

Step:No:05

Bake for 15 to 17 minutes, or until biscuits are golden, in a preheated oven.
