 Ingredients:

  1. 6 tablespoons basil pesto, homemade or store-bought
  2. 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  3. 4 (4-inch) focaccia squares, sliced in half (we also love using ciabatta or baguette)
  4. 8 ounces fresh mozzarella, sliced
  5. 2 roma tomatoes, sliced
  6. 1 cup fresh arugula
  7. 12 large fresh basil leaves
  8. Balsamic glaze, for serving
  9. Extra-virgin olive oil, for drizzle
  10. Flakey salt, to taste
  11. Freshly cracked black pepper, to taste


Instructions:

Step:No:01

Put the mayonnaise and pesto in a small bowl.

Step:No:02

Drizzle each sliced side of the bread with the pesto mayonnaise, then evenly distribute the mozzarella, tomatoes, arugula, and basil over the top half of the bread pieces. After adding olive oil and balsamic glaze, season to taste with salt and pepper. Place the remaining bread on top, then serve.
