Our recipe for mixed berry crisp is incredibly simple! It's summer in a baking dish, juicy, jammy, and topped with a buttery oat streusel.
Ingredients:
Filling.
- 6 cups mixed fresh berries, such as blueberries, raspberries or blackberries
 - ⅓ cup granulated sugar
 - ¼ teaspoon sea salt
 - 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
 - 1½ tablespoons fresh lemon juice (from 1 lemon)
 - ¼ teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
 
Oat topping.
- ¼ cup (½ stick) cold unsalted butter, cubed
 - ½ cup brown sugar, packed
 - ½ cup all-purpose flour
 - ½ cup rolled oats
 - ½ teaspoon sea salt
 
For Serving.

Adjust an oven rack to the middle position and preheat the oven to 400°F.

Gently combine the berries with the sugar, salt, flour, lemon juice, and cinnamon (if using) in a sizable basin. Transfer the berry mixture into a pie pan or 2-quart baking dish.

Combine the butter, brown sugar, flour, oats, and salt in a medium-sized bowl. The mixture should come together into a crumbly dough with your hands. Distribute the oat blend evenly across the fruit.

Bake for about 35 minutes, or until the berries are bubbling and the topping is golden brown.
