Simple Mexican Casserole

 This is a delicious and simple to prepare Mexican casserole. It's still wonderful even when I frequently replace with ground turkey and low-fat dairy ingredients! Serve this casserole with a side of green salad, chips, and salsa.

Ingredients:


  1. 1 pound lean ground beef
  2. 2 cups salsa
  3. 1 (16 ounce) can chili beans, drained
  4. 3 cups tortilla chips, crushed
  5. 2 cups sour cream
  6. 1 (2 ounce) can sliced black olives, drained
  7. ½ cup chopped green onion
  8. ½ cup chopped fresh tomato
  9. 2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese


Directions:

Step:No:01

Compile every component.

Step:No:02

Turn the oven on to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees Celsius). Coat with cooking spray a 9 x 13 baking dish.

A big skillet should be heated at medium-high heat. For eight to ten minutes, or until browned and crumbly, cook and stir the ground beef in the heated skillet
.

After adding the salsa, lower the heat, and simmer for 20 minutes or until the liquid is absorbed. Add the beans and heat through, stirring.

Cover the bottom of the baking dish with smashed tortilla chips, then add the meat mixture on top. Cover the meat with sour cream and garnish with tomatoes, green onions, and olives. Spread Cheddar cheese on top.

Bake for about 30 minutes in a preheated oven, or until hot and bubbling.
